Island of Hoy Day Trip
For the Standard Tour take the bus from Kirkwall Travel Centre at 9:25, this arrive at the Houton Ferry Teminal for 09:45. The ferry leaves Houton at 10:00 and will pull in at Lyness Pier at 10:40 where your tour bus will be waiting for you. There is free car parking at the ferry terminal.
Houton Ferry
Orkney Ferries operates the MV Hoy Head from Houton to Lyness, Foot passengers and vehicles.
Bus
You can travel on the bus to Houton from Kirkwall Travel Centre - Stand 3
Stromness Ferry
Orkney Ferries also operates the MV Graemsay which sails from Stromness to Moaness (Hoy). Foot passengers only.
